Panda portable dryers, such as the PAN760SF, are sold by Canadian retailers for apartments and suites. The PAN760SF holds about 3.5 cubic feet, has a stainless steel drum and runs on a regular 110 to 120 V plug with a heater of around 1,500 W. It vents from the back and can be wall-mounted. Control is a simple timer with hot, cool and air-dry settings, so there is no electronic board or error code display to read.
Spin dryer or tumble dryer?
Panda also sells small spin dryers, which are a different product. A spin dryer has no heater; it simply spins water out of clothes at high speed and drains it. A tumble dryer like the PAN760SF uses heat and moving air. Many people use the two together, spinning first to cut tumble-drying time. When you contact us, please confirm which type you have, because the parts and the repair approach are completely different.
Common faults
On Panda tumble dryers, no heat usually means a failed heating element, thermal fuse or thermostat. A drum that stays still while the motor hums often points to a broken belt. Slow drying is most often caused by overloading, a full lint filter or a vent hose that is long, kinked or not connected.
